Community Appreciation Cookout
American Legion Post 193 will host a Community Appreciation Hot Dog Cookout on Friday, November 8, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at Boland Ace Hardware in Chapin. Stop by for free hot dogs and fellowship as the Legion thanks the community for its ongoing support.

SCDOT 10-Year Plan Presentation
The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will hold a public presentation on Tuesday, October 28, at 6:30 p.m. at Chapin Town Hall (157 NW Columbia Ave.). The meeting will cover updates and future projects from the state’s 10-year plan to improve roads and bridges in the area.

Sweet Potato Fundraiser
The Chapin Ruritan Club is taking orders now through October 27 for fresh South Carolina-grown sweet potatoes—just in time for the holidays!
