LEXINGTON — The Lexington County Department of Public Works is inviting residents, businesses and community stakeholders to attend a series of open house meetings as part of the development of the county’s Transportation Improvement Plan.
The long-range planning effort focuses on preserving and enhancing Lexington County’s transportation system to improve traffic flow and mobility. The plan will summarize current traffic conditions and project transportation needs through 2050.
County officials say the open house meetings will give community members an opportunity to learn about the plan and provide input on future transportation priorities. Public feedback will help guide transportation investments and improvements across the county.
Residents can also participate by completing a confidential project survey and reviewing materials on the project website.
The meetings will be held from 5–7 p.m. on the following dates:
-
March 16 — Brookland-Cayce High School gymnasium, 1300 State St., Cayce
