The Chapin boys’ soccer team has climbed to the top of the Class 5A Division II rankings while building momentum early in the season.
The Eagles hold a 4-1 record and are riding a three-game winning streak. They also sit at No. 1 in the latest S.C. High School Soccer Coaches Association rankings.
Chapin entered Tuesday’s matchup with Class 4A second-ranked Bishop England after completing a perfect homestand with victories over Nation Ford, Swansea and Catawba Ridge.
The Lady Eagles share the same 4-1 record and are ranked No. 2 in the Class 5A Division II girls rankings. Their next game is the region opener against Dutch Fork.
