The Chapin Athletic Leadership Institute (CALI) at Chapin High School is hosting best-selling author Jon Gordon via teleconference during their November 7th meeting.
The student athletes are studying Gordon’s book called The Power of a Positive Team. In the book, Gordon lays out a plan that anyone can follow. He asks the reader to create a vision, share it, and then be relentless in leading with optimism and positivity. He encourages his readers to confront and transform negativity. The goal of CALI is to make sure the student-athletes understand the values they are learning in sports can be applied to leadership and in life to better understand the leadership qualities they should endeavor to possess.
