LEXINGTON, S.C. — Lexington County Blowfish co-owner Bill Shanahan presented a $5,000 check to Terrance Green during a March 18 networking luncheon.
The funds were raised at the annual Lexington County Chili Cookout held Feb. 15 at the Icehouse Amphitheater. Presented by Old Mill Brewpub and the Blowfish, the event featured chili tastings, voting, and fundraising efforts benefiting local causes.
According to Green, the donation will support the Lexington Police Foundation, with a focus on officer mental wellness initiatives.
In addition, Mission Lexington will receive a $1,000 donation at a later date.
