The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) has named Doris Gallman Harrison as a 2024 Top Ten Business Woman.

ABWA recognizes ten women annually across the nation for their outstanding achievements in career, education, local chapter involvement, and community action. The honoree exemplifies the organization’s vision and mission and is spotlighted at the National Women’s Leadership Conference, which was held this year in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and co-owner of Angels Mental Health Services, LLC. She has extensive experience in developmental-behavioral modification in autism spectrum disorder. She currently contracts with Emerge Counseling Group as a licensed therapist; and is a South Carolina Notary Public.

Harrison is active in her church and community and holds membership with Chi Sigma Iota International Honor Society for counseling and academic professionals, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. She is a chartered member of the Women Connecting Women Chapter (Newberry) of ABWA and currently serves as Vice President of the Columbia Triad Chapter (Columbia) of ABWA.

She is married to Deacon Cedric Harrison and the mother of two daughters (Briana and Kaitlin) and one granddaughter. Doris’ motto is to live each day to the fullest, and capture the essence of creation as if it’s your last.

On November 18, 2023, Doris will be recognized at an ‘Evening of Excellence’ dinner & entertainment celebration sponsored by the Women Connecting Women Chapter. The event will be held at the Mid-Carolina County Club in Prosperity. The ticketed event is open to the public.
