Your vote counts in the Chapin Town mayor and council election on November 4, 2025. There will be a Chapin Candidate Forum on October 23, from 6-8 pm, at the Chapin American Legion Post 193 at 102 Lexington Avenue. The forum will be moderated by Ms. Lillian Mood. The forum is sponsored by a group of area residents in partnership with The League of Women’s Voters.
Chapin town hall meeting is on October 21at 6 pm, at 157 NW Columbia Ave, at Chapin Town Hall.
The Annual “Shatter the Myth” program is for all parents who want information on how vaping, drugs, and alcohol abuse, how to navigate substance abuse with their children and families. The event will be on Tuesday, October 28, at 5-8 p.m. at Dutch Fork Middle school.
The Chapin Ruritan Club is taking orders now until October 27 for sweet potatoes, with delivery expected during the first week of November. Get a 40-lb. box for $35, or 20 pounds for $20. To place an order call 803-223-5395
