The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) plans to close three lanes on Lake Murray Boulevard (SC 60) in Lexington County beginning March 16 to conduct a pipe repair.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction during the work, which is expected to be completed by March 23.
A detour will be in place using North Lake Drive and Weed Drive. Drivers will not be able to make a left turn onto Lincreek Drive and should instead use North Lake Drive to access Lincreek Drive.
SCDOT urges motorists to slow down and remain alert for signage and crews while traveling through the area.
