It was a successful weekend for the Chapin girls’ soccer team.
The Lady Eagles defeated Fort Mill on penalty kicks (0-0) 6-5 on Sunday to win the Blue Division of the Crescent Cup at Airport High School.
Goalkeeper and Newberry College-bound senior Olivia Bradley made the deciding goal during sudden death. She also made the block which set up her game-winner.
It was the second victory over the Lady Yellow Jackets on Sunday. The Lady Eagles defeated them in the semifinals 2-0 and finished 4-0 at the tournament.
Chapin won by a combined score of 13-1, beating J.F. Byrnes (5-1) and Chapman (6-0) before the two victories over Fort Mill.
