IRMO, S.C. — The Town of Irmo will launch a new live music series Thursday, Sept. 3, bringing jazz performances, food and a relaxed outdoor atmosphere to Whitt Cline Community Park.
Jazz on Carlisle is being presented in partnership with the ColaJazz Foundation and will feature jazz musicians performing at the park gazebo. The series is designed to provide an intimate, outdoor listening-room experience while giving residents an opportunity to enjoy live music in a community setting.
The inaugural event will feature several food and beverage vendors, including Craft and Draft Irmo, Crazy Nutz, Kona Ice of Irmo/Chapin and King of Fire Columbia.
Carolina Charcuterie Company will also offer a special Jazz on Carlisle box. The boxes must be pre-ordered and will be delivered free to the park.
Residents are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of music and food.
Jazz on Carlisle will be held on the first and third Thursdays from September through November, from 6 to 8 p.m. Admission is free.
