IRMO, SC – Woodrow Marketplace is excited to announce the return of its 2nd Annual May Market, a community-centered celebration of local artisans, food, and family fun. The event will take place Saturday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Prime Space Storage parking lot at 7949 Broad River Rd., Irmo.
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, the 2026 May Market will feature an even larger lineup of activities and local talent. Attendees can enjoy a diverse car show, a wide variety of unique gift vendors, and a curated selection of popular local food options, including Chapin Bagel, Soda Belle, and Alsies of Columbia.
“This market is more than just a shopping event—it’s an opportunity to bring the Irmo community together while supporting a vital cause,” said organizers with Woodrow Marketplace. “We are proud to share that this year’s event will benefit Sharing God’s Love, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing food, clothing, and financial assistance to those in need within our community.”
Event highlights include:
- Charity Dunk Tank: Take your shot at dunking Irmo Town Council member Gabriel Penfield, with all proceeds going directly to the charity. Guests who bring an unopened jar of peanut butter to donate will receive an extra throw.
- Car Show & Local Vendors: A showcase of automotive enthusiasts alongside dozens of small businesses offering handmade goods, crafts, and treats.
- Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Enjoy a full day of music, food, and activities designed for all ages.
Admission to the May Market is free. Community members are encouraged to attend, support local businesses, and contribute to the mission of Sharing God’s Love.
