Families are invited to attend Shatter the Myth, a community education event hosted by Lexington-Richland School District Five on March 26 from 5–8 p.m. at the Center for Advanced Technical Studies.
The family-focused program is open to all district families and will provide information and education about the risks of alcohol, vaping and drug use. Organizers say the event will feature age-appropriate conversations and activities designed for students of all ages.
Dinner and childcare will be provided, though seating is limited. Families are encouraged to RSVP in advance to secure a spot at https://forms.gle/pN1PoM1bRAVv2yfU8.
The Center for Advanced Technical Studies is located at 916 Mt. Vernon Church Road in Chapin.
