The Chapin boys wrestling team competed for a spot in the Class 5A Division II final Wednesday.
The Eagles earned a trip to Lugoff-Elgin for the Lower State final. After a first-round bye, it rolled over West Florence 73-6 on Saturday.
On Monday, Chapin edged St. James 37-36 in the third round. The winner of the Eagles/Demons contest will face either Upper State champion Eastside or Fort Mill at 6 p.m. at Dreher High School.
