McGregor Presbyterian Church’s Snack Pack Program continues to thrive thanks to the dedication of local businesses like Parrish & Partners and Burkett, Burkett & Burkett, CPA. These two organizations play a vital role in supporting the program, which provides snack packs to students at five Irmo-area schools in District 5.
A few years ago, Ed Parrish, founder of Parrish & Partners, established a foundation to give back to the Midlands community. His company’s long-standing partnership with Burkett, Burkett & Burkett has evolved into an annual food drive competition between their employees.
This year’s friendly rivalry resulted in an impressive contribution of food for the Snack Pack Program, as well as personal donations totaling $1,235.
The Snack Pack Program helps ensure that children in need have access to nutritious snacks, and the support from businesses like Parrish & Partners and Burkett, Burkett & Burkett demonstrates the power of community collaboration.
