Halloween Spooktacular Delights Families at Chapin Library

CHAPIN, SC – The Chapin Branch of the Lexington County Public Library was alive with Halloween spirit last Thursday, October 24, as families gathered for the library’s annual Halloween Spooktacular. With the help of the Friends of the Library, the event offered a lively evening of activities, including balloon animals, snacks, crafts, and storytime, culminating in a children’s costume parade that delighted attendees of all ages.

The costume parade highlighted an impressive display of creativity, with standout costumes like Piñata, Titanic, Butterfly, and Cinderella taking top spots. Library staff joined the fun in their own costumes, with Gru and the Minions making an appearance. Residents passing by may have even spotted a Minion on the way to Town Hall!

The Spooktacular provided a festive, family-friendly celebration for the Chapin community and left everyone excited for next year’s Halloween bash.
