All-State guard Cam Scott, a recent graduate and state boys’ basketball champion from Lexington High School, and now a freshman on the University of South Carolina men’s basketball team, returned to his roots this past Saturday for a Back-to-School Weekend event at his alma mater, Pleasant Hill Middle School.
During the event, camp attendees had the opportunity to hone their basketball skills and receive tips from Scott, who holds the title of all-time leading scorer in Lexington High School history. The weekend of activities continued with a special bowling night for third through fifth graders, where young students had the chance to engage with the local sports star in a fun and interactive setting.
