Paul Brawley Picked to Lead Statewide Organization

Columbia, SC – Richland County Auditor Paul Brawley has been named president of the South Carolina Association of Auditors, Treasurers and Tax Collectors (SCATT). Brawley, who has served as Richland County’s auditor since 2006, was elected president at SCATT’s statewide conference in February.

Brawley expressed his enthusiasm for leading SCATT, emphasizing his commitment to enhancing efficiency and services for taxpayers across South Carolina. “I look forward to helping our membership provide greater efficiency and services to taxpayers statewide, while continuing to enhance the operations of the County Auditor’s Office,” Brawley said.

A five-term incumbent, Brawley brings extensive experience and leadership to his new role as president of SCATT. His tenure as Richland County Auditor has been marked by a focus on improving operations and serving the community effectively.

As president of SCATT, Brawley aims to foster collaboration and innovation among auditors, treasurers, and tax collectors throughout the state, ensuring that taxpayers receive the highest level of service.
