Representative Nathan Ballentine recently spent some time with Cub Scout Pack 870 in Chapin.
He is currently campaigning to continue serving the Irmo-Chapin community in the South Carolina State House.
“For years, I’ve had the honor of serving you and your family in Columbia where experience matters,” Ballentine said. “I’ve built the relationships, earned the seniority, and gained the perspective necessary to make sure Irmo and Chapin have a strong voice when decisions are being made at the state level.”
Ballentine said South Carolina is growing, and with that growth comes the responsibility of making sure families can afford to live, work, and raise their families.
“I’ve remained focused on being a fiscal conservative and keeping affordability top of mind — supporting policies like eliminating the state sales tax on groceries, lowering income tax rates, increasing the Homestead Exemption for senior citizens, and helping keep college tuition frozen for the past seven years,” he said. “These aren’t just numbers on a budget sheet; they are real dollars back in the pockets of South Carolina families.”
Ballentine said he’s not running past achievements, but what the community can accomplish next.
“There’s still work to do, and I believe Irmo and Chapin deserve a representative with the experience, relationships, and determination to get it done. A common-sense conservative. That’s me.”
Ballentine said he is proud of his record and endorsements, and proud of the trust placed in him.
“I’d be honored to have your vote to continue serving our community,” he said. “Experience matters. You deserve a voice that gets things done. Let’s keep moving our state and our community forward.
