During the April 15th Lexington Town Council meeting, the Lexington County Blowfish made a generous contribution of $6,000 to support the Lexington Police Foundation. This donation was raised through the proceeds of the annual Lexington Chili Cookoff, an event held on February 18th at the Ice House Amphitheater.
The Chili Cookoff, a joint venture organized by the Blowfish, Old Mill Brew Pub, and the Town of Lexington, brought together community members in a celebration of food, fun, and fundraising. Thanks to the generosity of participants and supporters, the event was a resounding success, with proceeds earmarked to benefit the vital work of the Lexington Police Foundation.
