The Friends of the Chapin Branch Library are thrilled to introduce the Judy Carter Scholarship, a $500 scholarship aimed at supporting the post-secondary endeavors of a deserving graduating senior. Named in honor of Judy Carter, whose unwavering dedication has enriched the Chapin community through the library for over 25 years, this scholarship celebrates her remarkable contributions and commitment to education.
Eligible graduating seniors from Chapin High School, Springhill High School, as well as homeschooled and private school students in the area, are invited to apply. Applications can be obtained from the Chapin Branch of the Lexington County Public Library or requested via email at Friendsofchapinlibrary@gmail.com. The deadline for completed applications is March 31, 2024.
The scholarship will be awarded at the April meeting of the Friends of the Chapin Library following a thorough review of all received applications. Only applications that adhere to the submission guidelines will be considered for review.
