District Five Leader Participates in Women’s History Month Education Initiative

IRMO — School District Five of Lexington and Richland Counties Coordinator of Instructional Technology Carol Lunsford recently joined fellow leaders from across the state for a Women’s History Month gathering focused on advancing education in South Carolina.

The event, organized by Discovery Education in partnership with the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA) and the South Carolina Association of Educational Technology (SCAET), brought together a group of women leaders in education to collaborate and share ideas.

Participants engaged in discussions aimed at identifying strategies to improve learning outcomes and expand opportunities for students across the state.

Organizers say the luncheon served as an opportunity to foster collaboration among education professionals while recognizing the contributions of women leaders during Women’s History Month. There are plans to make the inaugural event an annual gathering moving forward.
