Congressman Joe Wilson’s Annual Bus Tour Highlights Local Engagement

Congressman Joe Wilson conducted his annual bus tour from August 20-23, visiting various local businesses, schools, and organizations across South Carolina’s Second Congressional District. As part of the tour, on Wednesday, August 21, Wilson made a stop at the Chapin Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center, where he received a warm welcome from chamber members and local officials.

Paul Sadler, President/CEO of the Greater Chapin Chamber of Commerce, expressed his gratitude for the visit, stating, “We were honored to welcome Congressman Joe Wilson to the Greater Chapin Chamber of Commerce. His visit underscores the importance of our local businesses and the work we do to strengthen our community.”

The bus tour also included stops in Aiken, Irmo, and Columbia’s Forest Acres. Sadler emphasized the value of the Congressman’s active participation in the region, adding, “It’s great to see our leaders taking an active interest in our area’s growth and development.”
