Chapin Middle School is off to an amazing start for the 2023-2024 school year. One of the school’s favorite traditions is welcoming students who are new to School District 5 and Chapin Middle with a New Student Social.
Students, counselors, and administrators played games, got to know each other, and even enjoyed a treat from the cafeteria at this fun event which was held on September 20, 2023. CMS welcomed students from as far away as South Dakota, New York, and Ohio, as well as some from the nearby Columbia area. This time allowed students to make connections with one another as they and their families are settling into the area and learning what it means to be a part of the Chapin Middle Family.
The group will meet throughout the year to help continue to build relationships with one another and with the counselors and administrative team in our building. Chapin Middle is happy to have these new students join the Chapin Middle family.
