Chapin Library to Host Summer Reading Celebration

CHAPIN – The Chapin Branch Library will mark the end of Lexington County Public Library’s “Color Our World” Summer Reading Program with a lively Completion Party on Tuesday, July 29, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The free family-friendly event will feature a visit from Twin Farms Petting Zoo and a colorful tie-dye station where attendees can create wearable art. Guests are encouraged to bring a 100% cotton item—like a T-shirt or pillowcase—to design their own souvenir and wrap up summer with a splash of creativity.

There’s still time to participate in the Summer Reading Program and be entered in the grand prize drawings. All activity cards must be submitted by the August 1 deadline.

The Chapin Branch Library is located at 129 NW Columbia Avenue. For more information, call 803-345-5479.
