Chapin welcomed Labor Day with its annual festivities, beginning on August 31 with a 5K run and an exciting Latin Night on Beaufort Street. Attendees enjoyed authentic Venezuelan cuisine from the Arepa Chef food truck, Latin music by David Rodriguez and the Latin Hustle, and a night filled with dancing.
The celebration continued the following evening with the annual Boots on Beaufort country concert, featuring performances by Johnny Meetze, Griffin Schelbe, Noel Lindler, and the Bank Walkers. Guests were treated to more delicious food and a lively country music atmosphere.
Labor Day Monday brought a full day of events. The Chapin Labor Day Classic Car Show was held at the Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church parking lot, while the annual Labor Day Parade made its way down Chapin Road. Meanwhile, downtown Chapin was buzzing with excitement as it hosted the Labor Day Festival, offering fun for all ages.
