The Chapin community is known for its philanthropic opportunities for neighbors to help neighbors. Those who wish to leave an unending legacy of generosity often consider donating to the Greater Chapin Community, an endowment publicly funded by and for the people residing in Chapin and neighboring communities.

Next up for the GCCF is participation in the annual Midlands Gives drive that will be held on May 7 and throughout the month. Gifts made through the Midlands Gives platform on the annual giving day are amplified through sponsor prize incentives. Throughout the day, donations are also tracked through the site’s leaderboard, and prizes are awarded to amplify donations.

Since 2003, the GCCF has collected more than $575,000, which has been saved and invested in the community’s future. Over $195,000 in grants have been awarded to over 38 different Greater Chapin nonprofit organizations. Learn more on their website or Facebook page.
