Lake Murray Elementary student Hayes Prosser and teacher Rachel DiMaria were selected as the Chapin Chamber’s Student and Teacher of the Month.
“Hayes is new to Lake Murray Elementary School just like I am this year,” Principal Kristen Eubanks said. “Hayes has quickly met lots of friends and made connections with others. She has become quite popular at school not only for her kind and caring demeanor but for her creativity and talents. In her spare time, she makes her own jewelry and is in the process of starting her own small business. We are super proud of her leadership and are happy that she is part of the LMES crew.”
Eubanks said, “Mrs. DiMaria serves as our librarian and brings so much creativity and joy to our school. In just a few short weeks, she’s hosted famous guest authors, a book-tasting event, and started a morning read-along club. She deeply cares about our school and is always willing to lend a helping hand to others. Mrs. DiMaria is such a special person and a gifted teacher and who truly connects with our students. Thank you for shining in so many ways at Lake Murray Elementary.”
