Chapin Branch Library Summer Reading Kick-Off

The Chapin Branch of the Lexington County Public Library kicked off its highly anticipated summer reading program on Monday, June 2, with an unforgettable celebration full of foam, fun, and excitement. Families gathered to register for the Color Our World summer reading program, kicking off a summer of fun reading adventures.

Held in partnership with Chapin Town Hall, the event also featured a ribbon-cutting for the newly improved nature trail, adding more opportunities for outdoor exploration. The festivities included a lively foam party, balloon animals, face painting, games, and plenty of sunshine.

A huge thanks to the Friends of the Chapin Branch Library, along with all the volunteers, library staff, and junior volunteers, for making the event such a success. Summer reading activities will continue throughout the season, and it’s not too late to join the fun! The program is open to all ages, and participants have the chance to earn exciting prizes as they read their way through the summer.

Sign up today and Color Our World with books, nature trails, prizes, and endless fun!
