CHAPIN, S.C. — Lexington Health Chapin has expanded its urgent care hours, offering patients additional evening access to medical care beginning Aug. 2.
The urgent care center is now open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., extending operating hours by three hours beyond the previous 5 p.m. closing time and aligning the Chapin location with Lexington Health’s other urgent care centers.
“Lexington Health is committed to meeting the needs of our friends and neighbors in Chapin and surrounding communities,” said Roger Sipe, chief operating officer of Hospital and Community Medical Center Operations. “Nobody plans on the exact moment they get sick or hurt. These extended hours will help patients get the care they need, when they need it, closer to home.”
Lexington Health urgent care centers provide treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, including sprains and strains, fevers, flu symptoms, sore throats and other non-life-threatening conditions. No appointment is required.
