May Market is May 9

Woodrow Marketplace has announced the return of the second May Market, a community-focused celebration of local artisans, food, and family fun.

The event will take place May 9, from 11 am – 5 pm in the Prime Space Storage parking lot, located at 7949 Broad River Road in Irmo. Funds raised will support Sharing God’s Love.

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, the 2026 May Market promises an even larger selection of activities and local talent. Attendees can expect a diverse car show, a wide array of unique gift vendors, and a curated selection of some of the area’s favorite eats, including Chapin Bagel, Soda Belle, and Alsies of Columbia.

Event Highlights Include:

 • Charity Dunk Tank: Local residents will have the opportunity to dunk Gabriel Penfield, Irmo Town Council member, with all proceeds going directly to charity. Bring an unopened jar of peanut butter for donation and receive an extra ball.
 • Car show and local vendors: A showcase of local automotive passion alongside dozens of small businesses offering handmade goods and treats.
 • Family atmosphere: A day full of music, food, and community engagement designed for all ages.

Admission to the May Market is free to the public. Community members are encouraged to come out, support local small businesses, and contribute to the mission of Sharing God’s Love.
