The regular season winds down with four Chapin teams clinching Region 4-5A titles.
On Thursday, the baseball team rallied to defeat White Knoll 8-5 to finish 7-3 in the region.
Drew Greer went 4-4 with 2 RBI and Kennedy Leach had the go-ahead 2-run single.
With Lexington’s 2-game sweep of River Bluff, Chapin finished with a 3-way tie for first place. The Wildcats get the top seed, followed by the Eagles and Gators.
On Friday, the Chapin boys’ soccer team defeated White Knoll 8-1 to clinch the region title. The Eagles finished with a 9-1 record and will close out the regular season with non-region games against Newberry and Ashley Ridge.

The Lady Eagles shut out White Knoll 9-0 the same night to finish in second place behind Lexington.
The Chapin boys’ lacrosse team is the fourth region champion. The Eagles finished 13-3 overall and 6-0 in the region, which includes handing River Bluff its lone loss.
