Whitney Ann Wilks and Nicholas Alexandru Goodwin, both of Chapin, South Carolina, are excited to announce their engagement. The couple will be married on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Gateway Baptist Church. The ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will be officiated by Pastor Don Brock. A reception will follow at The Cotton Press.
Whitney is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Christopher Wilks (Christa). She graduated from The University of South Carolina and works for Jear Logistics.
Nicholas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Haywood Goodwin (Marty). He serves in the United States Air Force Special Operations.
The bride will be attended by her Maid of Honor, Caroline Gossett. Bridesmaids include Autumn Boozer, Elizabeth Bowie, Lindsay Martin, and Eason Davis. The Flower Girl will be Finny Person.
The groom’s Best Man will be Hunter Tuggle. His groomsmen are Eli Goodwin, Cade Jones, Hunter Best, Chase Blalock, Jeremy Tuggle, and Will Schindler. The Ring Bearer will be Juda Gore.
Following their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Florida.
